Future / Potential

Future/Potential explores how data shapes public perception and contributes to climate blindness. Through guerrilla-style posters across Los Angeles, the project questions how online information obscures urgent environmental issues. Using the top 500 Google Image results for endangered locations, composite images were generated, then deconstructed and reassembled by a custom algorithm into continuous, linear landscapes. The resulting visuals mimic autostereograms—3D illusions where familiar places dissolve into abstract patterns—stripping these places of immediacy and rendering them unrecognizable.
